KASI Astronomers Abound at Gemini North
Several teams of Korean astronomers are wrapping up a 10-night observing block at Gemini North. The astronomers from KASI (Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute) are using the power of Gemini Remote Access to CFHT ESPaDOnS Spectrograph (GRACES), Gemini Multi-Object Spectrograph (GMOS), and Gemini Near-InfraRed Spectrograph (GNIRS) to execute 74 hours of observations from 10 programs.
Some of the investigators (shown below) are visiting with KASI astronomers to participate in observations. If all the KASI time is executed, the team will then execute other queue observations.
