K-GMT Science Group (KGSG) is in charge of all science operations run by the Center for Large Telescopes (CfLAT). KGSG aims to promote scientific activities with an ultimate goal of leading Korean Astronomical Community to assume a world-leading position in the field of observational astronomy, and fully utilizing the state-of-the-art capabilities of Giant Magellan Telescope (GMT) in 2020’s. To this objectives, we are devoted to various activities over a wide scope of works, inclusive of but not limited to the followings:

  3. Joint Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

  4. K-GMT Summer School for Young Researchers

  5. Participation in International Large Survey Projects (e.g., SDSS4, LSST)

  6. Host/Promotion of Schools and Workshops on various research topics for the community
